Composer : Kristopher Carter 

​

Kristopher is an Emmy-winning composer who has created music for Warner Bros., Sony, Disney and Marvel Studios. In addition to winning the Emmy Award, he has received seven other Emmy nominations and four Annie Award nominations accompanying some of the most recognizable animated superhero properties as Batman, Superman, the Justice League and Marvel's Avengers. He has collaborated on musical film projects with well-known stars such as Mark Hamill, Neil Patrick Harris, Diedrich Bader, Melissa Rauch, Rob Paulsen, Tara Strong and Grey DeLisle-Griffin.

He made his Hollywood Bowl debut in 2001 with a commission from John Mauceriand the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra. As conductor, he recently appeared at the Kraków Film Music Festival in Poland and the Fimucité Film Music Festival in Tenerife, Spain, conducting his music. As a featured Guest of Honorat CONvergencein Minneapolis, he premiered a crossover electronic remix set of film music arranged in a Dance/Electronic style. In the record world, he has collaborated with the Wallflower’s Rami Jaffeeand and blues guitarist Kenny Wayne Shepherd. He has received concert commissions from cellist Carter Enyeart, saxophonist Robert Austin, flautist Gaspar Hoyos, and the University of North Texas Men’s Chorus. He was named Commissioning Composer of the Year by the Texas Music Teachers Association and also received fellowships to Robert Redford’s Sundance Composers Institute. He served as the first Composer-In-Residence of the Bel Canto Northwest Opera Festival and has given master classes on composing for film at prestigious institutions such as USC, UCLA, CalArts, Chapman University, Columbia College Chicago, the University of North Texas, and the North Carolina School of the Arts.
